01103603510 rang stated they were BT and requesting access to internet to correct a fault as hackers were using the internet after 12:00 hrs. They provided a customer reference that is held within the router and wanted to correct the error to stop hackers. They insisted that I should comply. When questioned why should I when Internet not provided by BT and what proof do I have that they are genuine. The stated they were doing across the whole of the UK on behalf of all the ISP's including ~Sky, EE and BT. W
They have called before and spoke to both my wife and myself.Easiest way to get rid is start asking questions as to where there info comes from ..they hang up very quickly!!!
Well I have not answered this number and have permanently blocked this on my mobile, if they're not on my saved list of contacts they don't get a look in - talking about pestering people, surely if you don't answer their call it should give them a hint to get lost!!!!
