Tried to convince me that they were from Sky and that my Internet speed wasn't appropriate. Then told me to download and app which gives them remote access to me phone. When I refused they told me I needed to pay them for the service they have just given me. Nice try!

Scam caller, states they are O2 offering me a discount on the services I have with them (I'm not even with O2). When questioned about how they got my number, became very hostile and rude. The line was also very poor, kept crackling.

Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. I answered the phone. I spoke 3 times but they stayed quiet. I'm not willing to stay on the line only for those to get into my phone.
It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.
Answered the call could hear a call centre in the background then the call ended. Nobody spoke so don’t know what they were trying to sell.
