Spam call saying my computer has been compromised and to press 1.Have been inundated with these calls over last few days.All have foreign accents.Surely telephone companies can do something about it as they must be allocating these numbers

For 6 months they have phoned me at least once a week even though I keep telling them to take me off their call list. I don't know who to contact to get them to stop. Very very annoying !

If you get a pop up on your PC with the phone number seen above (or any that are close to it), close the popups on your screen, close the page down and just forget it. In all probability, your PC will not be infected, they are just trying to screw money out of you. They might even attempt to lock you out of your own PC.

Automated Scam call stating they were from Visa Debit Security and were querying a large transaction I had made - was this genuine or did I want to cancel this which would no doubt have required me to quote the card details!! I put the phone down on these criminals

Received a text saying attempts to set up DD to gumtree for £1200- It appeared to come from the 'normal' Barclays text account. Tried the number, and was held in a queue.. so I rang off. And phoned Barclays - they confirmed it was not their number. They also pointed me in the direction of "Barclays Number checker" website. Checked my phone bill and was only charged £2.78... but definitely a scam,

Claims management company after an accident I'd had. Tried to claim there is always money left over from a claim, but this doesn't increase all of our insurance premiums. Wouldn't take no for an answer, wouldn't take me off their list, insisted he will call my wife then cast aspersions on my family. Awful man.

SCAM - Spoofed number that hung up within 1 ring - as I was answering it. Yank voice says "The number you have called is curently unavailable" - so it muct be a SCAM

Foreign people ringing and said I'm due money back for hidden charges on mortgage wanted to no which bank date of birth etc third call when I said just post the cheque, he replied I will end this call it's better for you
