A call to my 83 yo mother who lives alone - criminal. They say it is about the installation work we had done and it is now dangerous and lets off fumes. We haven't had any work done and they hung up when I said what company are they from. Odd that they were able to do from a local number.

Internet - trying to sell me new phone/internet contract. There were long pauses during the conversation suggesting that the call wasn't coming from Cambridge. Worringly they had my full name and number (despite being registered here there and everywhere for no calls!). In the end said I was happy with my contract and ended the call.
