SPAM Caller asked if I was over 50, used a cane or walking aid, said I was eligible for medical alert. Started giving me blurb about how many people of my age going into care home etc. Asked why he was contacting me. Said his boss gives him a list of people over 50 with medical conditions. He hung up when I asked what medical condition that would be. Might be wrong but sounded like a scammer looking to target for elderly people with health problems. I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service.
