0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. Been pestered several times by this caller, so I eventually dialled back to find out who they were. A recorded message informed me that they were calling on behalf of the People s Postcode Lottery.
A lady from Homespace Southampton called. Asked if I had a garden room or conservatory. I replied I m in a second floor flat and have neither. She then asked about my boiler. At this point I said the company couldn t help me and put the phone down. A minute later she was back on the phone saying she would only take on minute of my time and asked about my boiler again. I said I had storage heaters and was then asked if my boiler was over 8 years old. I got very angry and slammed the phone down.
