Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. I couldn't understand the gentleman very well. He asked me to confirm my name and when I refused he became rather flustered. He asked me again and I said "No, you called me. You should know who I am." I asked what the company was called and was unable to understand the name but got a very round about explanation of them helping me with a PPI claim without actually mentioning those letters. Message as already described by a number of recipients - very dangerous if received by a gullible elderly person. Must be stopped.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

This represents a new tactic in scumbag cold call companies operation. They employ “home workers” and install call routing equipment into their operators houses. That way the caller ID is of the home worker and much more difficult for blocking software to identify. This call was from a company claiming that my wife was involved in a no fault accident two years ago and was entitled to compensation. My wife has been dead for 8 years. They got told to F off.
