Got a call from this number today and I see people are saying it’s a scam. She asked if I was a housing tenet and did I have any repairs that haven’t been done. She meant mould and such but I don’t know what she could scam me out of. If anyone knows could they tell me worried about this.
Said they were the Energy Advice Centre, offering to come and review my loft insulation for free and may be able to fix issues as part of government scheme (may be The Great British Insulation Scheme, which is a legitimate scheme). Automated call from American sounding lady informing me that an overseas surcharge had been made on my Paypal account for £199 - press 1 to pay the surcharge or press 2 to speak to customer service. Put the phone down at this point and blocked the number.

Caller said name was PERRY HUTHES asked numerous personal questions managed to get my mum and dad's ages and details about house security before my mum managed to get the phone off Dad. suggested working with Warwickshire police - vague enough to not be an outright lie wanted to get someone into the house for a sales visit. hard sell rather than scammer I think, but still very annoying and careful probing for personal details set the alarm bells ringing.

01514561897. A Pakistani accent man claimed he wanted to do a survey on behalf of councils and housing associations.
Call with lots of noise in background, claimed to be from 'Phone house company' I think, hard to make out. I hung up due to not recognising this name.
Says its from Amazon but its 07562840765 if they call one day the next day its the same first four numbers just the last digits change totally fed up especially when they call at 1 am in the morning
