Said I had car accident which I haven't. Said number given to him by Association of British Insurers. Told him i was ex directory and registered with TPS before he hung up. Not the first itime they have called. Very annoying

Identified himself as a Mathew Taylor, claimed to be from a company called Cooper & Sloane, supposedly share analysts for major companies. Offering a "special" share deal. Lots of indirect sales spiel, coercive conversation techniques, leading up to the sting. When challenged to reiterate the purpose of his call, got exasperated muttered "Oh Jesus" and hung up abruptly.
Received a silent call from this number. I called it back and someone answered, said hello and then put the phone down.
