Bot first spoke saying quotScottish Power are trying to contact you press 1 to talk to an advisorquot I press 1 then some Indian woman asks for my full name and address I say that Im not comfortable giving my address over the phone like that they didnt even say why they were calling then they put me on hold then hung up on me Its either 1 a scam or 2 a bad organisation doing dirty work for Scottish Power Either way theyre untrustworthy and should be avoided

Supposedly bank fraud but no name of bank.

Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam

It’s a scam, claimed to be from a bank and not enough funds in bank to complete transactions. Very bad line and eventually the caller hung up, daughter rang number back and it’s not recognised.

This is a scam. Claiming to be our child who has a broken phone so has got a temporary number. Then asking for a money transfer as their bank account is locked

This number is a scammer talking from an automate robot saying the persona called is going to be arrested for tax fraud and so on. And so invite you to press 1 (which I highly recommend not to) before they take any actions.

SCAM text saying that Simon could not deliver parcel from the Post Office and could I fill in my details. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.

This number is a scam. Male Asian accent,Asking if I had my Covid vaccinations. I ask him who he was and what organisation. He said from CCG Manchester which is 300 miles from my own CCG. I rang Manchester CCG to let them know.

Call received this morning claiming to be from BT claiming there was a problem with my internet connection. Number has been added to my blocked list.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

Prerecorded message allegedly from my bank stating 2 payments could be fraudulent on my account. Obvious Fraud fishing.

SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. Michael the northerner posing as someone who lives in Ferndown, BH postcode, scamming multiple people out of £1000 for a deposit on a van (van make/model changes). Reported to Barclays, local police and action fraud. Urging anybody else to do the same. Michael operates under micharr_8952 on ebay Working with a “Pamela Gordon” who banks at Halifax, Liverpool Allerton Road branch Email domain is registered with AOL No luck reverse image searching yet, but not to worry, I have plenty of time :-)

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

Was called out of the blue about the crypto world trade centre scam, wanting to send me an email to get my funds back - sounds really dodgy apparently they are Virgin Tech - no website, I rang the number back, it connected to ananswerphone message but with no mention of the company. Alarm bells.
