I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Maybe I'm being too harsh marking this as Dangerous - I heard an unconvincing attempt at phishing from, supposedly, 'your call blocking service', 08-03-22.
Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. SCAM - called and knew my name but wouldn't say who they were, hung up when I asked why they were calling, suspicious
Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.
Asked for the wrong name and when I politely told her this she aggressively told me to "no, you listen!" before telling me I qualified for some nonsense win.

SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.

Foreign sounding woman claimed to be from Amazon about recent order. I asked her several times 'What is Amazon?' and she hung up.
Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.
01997 617229 called me around 4:30PM on 21 March 2023. A guy with an Indian accept was speaking, but hung-up after about 5 seconds. If you call back, it says "welcome to Farn Mart", but none of the options in the menu connect you to anyone.
