SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

This is a scam caller. They will know your name but don't verify anything nor give them any information. They are based in India.

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Became agressive when challanged regarding legitimacy of call. Then received caller-withheld harrasment & time wasting calls a few minutes after putting the phone down with the 'caller' attempting to change the sound of their voice

A very similar number , 7342 225631, texted me pretending to be one of my children, saying that they had broken their phone and had to borrow a friend's. Asked me to WhatsApp them on this number.

This is clearly a campaign, though not a very effective one as their automatic dialer does not ring long enough for one to actually answer the phone. In recent weeks I have also had annoying calls from numbers in the same range, for example 03301900598 and 03301900590. I'll just keep blocking them.
