When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. Well-organised scam, claiming that internet connection to be terminated in 24 hours due to illegal activity. Obviously tied in with call received 5 minutes earlier from Kuwaiti number 09655448846 bearing similar recorded message
Received a call from 01206700891 which I missed initially. Then I got a 2nd call the next day which I answered. There was no voice on the other side, just silence, and then it hung up 3 seconds later. Sounds like an automatic system checking for active telephone numbers. DON'T ANSWER this number.

I get this number calling me 3 or 4 times a day, got a call this morning sat 14th at 9.40 thy are a pain.
claiming to be a LOCAL energy efficiency company channg loft insulaton. London number but this is not local to me. The man wanted to check my ID.
Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.
