Automated call claiming to be from VISA's security dept. concerning about two payments - £400 and £700 - that had allegedly been taken from my VISA card this morning. Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
