This number buggers me several times a day. Why is it that they keep calling me, when they have my mother s number and could contact her directly.... It s a legitimate number, as I ve checked with TSB themselves when they carried the first time. It s going on my block list.

My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. Bloke was very friendly and implied he was from BT and TPS. said there had been a large number of unsolicited calls in the area and offered a service to stop them. Hung up when I pressed him about price and told him I wouldn t pay. Scarily convincing to vulnerable people!

Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.
