Fraud I had a call allegedly from HRMC that there is a tax fraud open and asks to press 1 to continue. I did not press as it looks like a fraud/scam

SCAM, pretending to open a case about my taxes but only use the information you gave them. Stupid peoples

Man with Indian sounding thick accent, called and asked to speak with me.(knew my surname). When I said ok he hung up..its prob a firm that sells your details on so my advice is dont answer calls from this number.

Offer cheapflight transfer money to thier account later they didn't send my ticket call again ask for the they tickets price go up again ready to pay that than said price is very high ask for refund they said its take 14 working day to get in my account now I don't have enough money to buy tickets I need to wait for refund I cancelled my holiday but not sure I will refund or not

He said aggressively I was using his WiFi and I have no idea what he is on about

This number called me at lunchtime and interrupted the work I was engaged in. When I answered there was no response; and when I called 1741 and pressed 3 to call the caller back, the number was engaged. Calls like this are real nuisance!

Same as with others Asian woman pretending to be BT. Told her to get a real job. But how do these scammers get a BT number in the first place?

Calls every day at the same time. Never leaves a message so I won't answer the call. No idea who they are and a google search proves useless.

Insurance Scam

BEWARE - scammer. 2nd identical call today. A male with an Indian accent told me his name was Winston and he was calling from BT. I asked him what my BT account number is, but he did not answer and said he was calling because of a problem with my router / browser. The number was falsified - when I tried calling it back, it did not connect.

I couldn't understand the gentleman very well. He asked me to confirm my name and when I refused he became rather flustered. He asked me again and I said "No, you called me. You should know who I am." I asked what the company was called and was unable to understand the name but got a very round about explanation of them helping me with a PPI claim without actually mentioning those letters.
