SCAM guy calls you and says i just got called from this number, can i confirm who this is? Obviously i will not tell to people who i am.

A man called me from this number and said that I had a car accident in front short and he needed my data for insurance. Since I had really short before a car accident, I asked for more detail. But he could not say how the accident expired or looked like the cars to me. He then said that he would have been not at all involved. He ll call for a friend. Why not call the friend himself, he could not tell me. I said that he is ripping off someone else and hung
Asian sounding voice , said his name was Mike , he was calling from Microsoft , and knew I had a Windows operating system , and my computer was infected and he would clean it up , My response was ; do you think I am stupid ?? and told him I didn t believe him , .....HE told me to go to hell you mother F!£$%& and hung up . Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

They rang saying I had signed up to extra income on line. When I claim I hadnt he repeatedly asked why I wouldnt do it, literally shouting down the phone at me "what is stopping you, dont you want a better life for you family" he kept shouting. Until eventually after asking him to remove my number off their records I gave up and hung up.
Called to say there was a problem with my BT internet, I told there my internet was fine (with no confirmation on my provider), the call was cut off at the other end. Sounds like a noisy call centre in a foreign country
