Recorded SCARE TACTICS to get the unwary to buy a new boiler. No such thing as a compulsory assessment, nor is it required by 2017. Unscrupulous company trying to sell boilers. Do not be taken in with their nonsense. Block or ignore it or better still flag it up here.

Supposed to be pc maintenance or windows tech support. Called from this number and also 004258967. 2 calls a day for 2 days so far. Indian sounding accents, very insistent and persistent . They said their number was 08000188351. Said they were calling with regards problems slowing down my oc on internet. I have reported to action fraud and suggest others do the same.

Called me and hung up immediately the ansaphone cut in. Tried calling them back but got a message that the number dialled had not been recognised. I suspect that it s a Skype type call from a foreign country - they usually come up with a number that looks like a uk STD code but could be from anywhere in the world.

Information Call from HMRC telling me that I will face legal action and to call another number immediately. Checked with HMRC and they said that they wouldn’t leave a recorded message, text message or email regarding this.

Don't know who it was; I didn't answer! Cold callers should be jailed + huge fines imposed.
SCAM. I received a text purporting to be from DPD, saying they'd been unable to deliver an item, and that a fee was now payable to release it for delivery. The message contained a link for me to do this. Definitely a scam. I've blocked the number and reported it to my mobile phone provider.
SCAM Recorded message said was from National Crime Agency doing an investigation - hung up at that point.

Impersonating a police officer is actually a criminal offence. Reckons I was caught using my phone by static camera, told him where to go and suggested he uses local officers to knock on my door. Now blocked.
