Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

This number, an automated woman's voice, called my landline today and purported to be the bank saying that they're checking a £600 payment from my bank account to somewhere abroad. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.
