Ringing to book appointment

Called twice at about 11am today. Both calls rung off quickly before they could be answered. Called back, but engaged. Will not try again.

This company contacted me regarding my life insurance. Very pleasant person called Matt explained why they were calling and I was happy with that. However, was unhappy about a call at 7pm!

Keeps ringing, I don t answer, had a long 6 year dispute with a major high street bank,who incidentally were in the wrong and didn t take me to court but harassed me all the same, all associated debts are long since statue barred and they know this, just trying their luck and having none.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. I got a message with a text, that I should urgently call this number and I ll probably need a lawyer and that there are some serious problems...blah..blah. I, or my lawyer, should call them in the next 24 hours. God, I hate this. A year ago, I got something similar. This is BS. You won t be able to call them back for a few hours, then miraculously you ll reach them and they ll mumble something about loans...a car or a house. Had 2 missed calls from this number today, glad I didn t call back after seeing the info on this site that it is Caledonia Energy selling solar panels. I am also on TPS and shall be making a complaint. How do these companies get your details?

Caller said (with a very Asian accent)she was "Mary-Not-Selling just asking your opinion, ok?" I said it wasn t OK and hung up. I could have said that my opinion was that she was at best a nuisance, but more likely a con artist.

Rang my mum and said it was csa. Said about a case in 1994 about my brother who wasnt even born then! And about my father (not even my brothers father) and then asked personal details. My mum had to stop the call as sounds too fishy!

Automated clear ladies English voice asking if you are bothered by nuisance calls, ironically they are one, and informing you that there is a new BT phone that blocks all nuisan...

After saying "hello" a few times I eventually had a foreign sounding woman ask if I was Mrs Choo. I hung up immediately as we are always getting calls starting this way; usually they show on our display as International, but this is the first time we have had one from a UK number. With the "international" calls they always hang up whether I answer YES or No to if I am Mrs Choo. So I ve no idea why they are calling.

This Number Belongs to Lloyds banking group, i was Sceptical to start with but rang my bank (Lloyds) to confirm the persons name and he IS part of Lloyds Group Customer Services.
