Do not answer it. At the end you have a contract that you can not withdraw. The book continues money from. Either on the contract or on the pre paid card or directly from the bank.

Received a call from 0161 818 2004 earlier this afternoon from an chap with an Indian accent. He enquired about any motor accidents/claim that I may have had in the last 3 years. All he had was my phone number. I was immediately suspicious. He said he had a legal duty to obtain further details (name, address, date of accident, cars involved etc) and that I was legally obliged to supply it. He claimed to be acting on behalf of a bank of insurers, but failed to identify any insurers that I had policies with.

Came across convincingly, but had my doubts at certain times, said he was based in Portsmouth from a Bournemouth area code! Yeah right, barge pole and do not touchspringto mind, started getting upset after I wasted a good half hour of his time!

Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

Text saying they had my number saved in their contacts but no name attached to the number. Said they were called una and do I remember them. Can't say for certain it was a scam. But it felt like it could be a scam. SCAM

Accident, some Indian or Pakistani woman, claiming being from some RCR solutions, somehow knowing your name, calling you about trafic accidents, that you had an accident, if not she insist that your loved ones did it, you deny that, not even owning a car, she jumps to "maybe they've been hit by a car, and the owner of the car is claiming money for damages of the car..." so yeah. Fraud They said something about a warrant being out for my arrest due to tax evasion and to press 1 before further action was taken. I hung up right away. Quite a scary message and I could see vulnerable people being convinced that this is real.
