Would love to know who this number is and contact them myself to ask who do they think they are ringing my elderly parents at 3am???? When my mother eventually got to the phone it had rung off. first got calls repeatedly from 293 number - Verso telemarketing - told them to go away - they kept ringing - rang and told them to stop - said they would remove number in next 24/48 hours - then got call from 295 number - all callers have strong indian accents - really rude when I said I couldn't understand him and he put phone down - advise to ignore them all

RTA Scam. They are breaking the law by cold calling numbers on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). I think the best way to hit them where it hurts (if you have the time) is to keep the on the line as long as possible, keeping them thinking you are/might be interested, without giving out personal (or real) details.
