Scam

Woman calls from company X? says we agreed to sponsor educational books for schools. I said no we didn't. She said they have recordings of call so I said no you haven't and ended the call. They call us about once a year with the same scam call.

SCAM / SPAM - Pretains to be from HMRC saying there is a warrant out for your arrest and to press 1. This may transfer you to a premium phone line.

Keep sending me sms saying called but left no message. When I check my call log there is nobody from that number attempted to call. Do not ring back if they contact this way as you may pay a lot more than you realise. Also when you look at where in London it originates it's actually a London number originating from Guernsey SO BEWARE!!!!!

SPAM

Scam via browser saying you have a trojan virus and to ring the number. Do not ring. Not a virus, just a scam to charge you to fix it. If you have Safari and it locks with the message, force quit it, and then restart it while holding down shift key to load Safari without opening previous browser windows.

Received half of an automated voicemail referring to a County Court Judgement. Upon calling the number back a man answered. I asked him which company he was from and the line got disconnected with an automated message "We are not able to take your call right now. Good bye."

Pain in the *s salesmen.

SCAM / SPAM called me twenty times over and over without a gap between calls till I answered. Loan scam, do not answer it! They want your money. Number blocked now.

Asian guy making out he was calling on behalf of TPS to update records and wanting to confirm address details, full name, etc. Hung up, obviously a phishing scam.

Automated voice saying they were from Mastercard and I had authorised 2 payments of £900 press 1 to cancel

Said was from HMRC and I was being investigated for tax fraud. I must press 1 to speak with official or an arrest warrant would be issued
