Woman with strong accent (China /Indonesian) called saying she was from Microsoft. Asked if I was the owner of my computer. I hung up at that point - as suspected a scam.

Getting scammed by this company was the worst nightmare that happened to me early this year. I wish I had done enough research before engaging. Maybe the situation with them would have been different. I was so naïve and did not have enough information I needed to know about the whole online investing scenario. Fraud Someone called saying they were from HM Revenue and Customs claiming I owed taxes and if I didn't press 1 a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I pressed 1, just for the hell of it, and a person simply asked: "Hello, how may I help you?" I replied back: "what do you mean 'how can you help me?' you just phoned me!" and they got scared and hanged up.
