Hi Ive just rung the number I read above - 0207 1750125. I spoke to a man called ~Barry who said that I had applied for a loan. When I said I had applied for a loan but whenever it comes up I have to pay I dont persue the application. He then said that it was a for a "membership" not a loan. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about as I had not spoken to anyone about "memberships etc" and I had not given my card details to anyone. They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers or life insurance). For sure some general call centre with telemarketing offers. Did someone answer this one people? No way I would call them back :)
