I answered to firstly silence then clearly the sound of a call centre came on the line. Asked for me by first name but I said nobody of that name lives here so he hung up, I called back to get a dead tone - not a surprise! Clearly they're re-routing calls via local numbers to make it seem someone from your town is calling tricking you into answering. Didn't think these scumbags could sink even lower.
SCAM. They've called me 4 times in 2 days, about "my ViriginMedia account", which I don't have. As soon as you go off their script (e.g. "can I ask you..."), they hang up! Really irritating...

I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers.
