Rude and unpleasant caller refused to tell me why she was calling ............. probably a scam
SCAM Pretending to be Royal Mail stating you need to pay eg, £2.99 for postage before they will deliver. If you get a text just block the number and do not provide any names or bank details. Royal Mail are already aware of the scam. The scammers are in Russia

A woman answered with a foreign accent ( most likely Indian sub continent as usual ) asked for me by name, as soon as I asked who was calling she hung up.

this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.
