They are not exactly a debt collection company. They are a credit card company who follow up on missed payments or over-limit balances etc. So they do have a valid reason to call. However, even when you have spoken to them and agreed a payment/arrangement they call ENDLESSLY day and night on mobile and landline numbers and if you don t answer they keep cycling numbers. I recently got a phone call from this number soon after contacting sky about my broadband. He asked me to run a check on my speed and tell him the speeds for uplload and download; he then continued to tell me what i should have and that i should go onto my pc and connect to the their technical dept server so they could upgrade to what i should be having. Luckily im a bit tech savvy and new my speeds were correct and questioned him on my account which he couldn't give any details on. I'd say this is a scam!!

Despite informing Vanquis that my financial affairs are being dealt with by a third party I continue to be harassed! I have come to the point of blocking any numbers I do not know. Interest on account has risen drastically and I no longer care, they can pee off.
