SCAM Claimed to be from HMRC. Message said I was guilty of tax fraud and was going to be arrested. Asked me to press 1. Upon pressing 1 I was told that I owed £1000's and that the police were on their way to arrest me. Not wanting to be arrested or pay a large fine I thought quickly. Do you know who I am I asked. They replied yes but asked me to confirm my name. Told them I was Ronnie Pickering and if they any sense they should back off. The call was ended abruptly. I'm now waiting for the police to arriv

Received call about Payment Protection Insurance. Spoke to opperator who said the phone call was made by a marketing company called EZ Digital Marketing. The PPI claim company who not give me a contact number for EX Digital, but told me to email [email?protected] to get removed from the calling list.

It's a cloned number. I rang the No back and had a chat with the lovely people, whose No has been stolen. Seems like they are being rung up quite a lot.

"I am from BT and I'm calling to fix your router which sending large amounts of data which is causing your connection speed to fluctuate." A strong India accent. I told him my internet speed is fine. He said "do I know how to check my internet speed?" I replay that I'm an IT technician. He put the phone down.
