Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.

It's a scam text number.

This is the second message I have received from this number. Call centre type nasal voice. Holley Hartley, stated this call was on behalf of our client requesting an immediate call back, important and that it was not a sales call. I have not responded.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite.
