Received an automated call this morning (Thursday 21st January 2021) purporting to be from Amazon and stating that we had made a purchase of a £1000 plus, "If this was you Press (the ubiquitous) 1, if not Press 2", and no doubt end up with a large amount on out next bill.
Silent call
SCAM claimed to be from Visa unusual activity on card.

This number rang me, but did not know who it was, so I did not answer. No voicemail left, and gathering from what I have read here and from another site, this is likely to be a scam, so blocked it.
multiple calls silent response from my end in case voice activated.........no response from their end.......then they hang up I suggest this is a debt collection company checking to see if the phone number they have is valid.........so they can pester people even more. Avoid. Do not respond or talk to them. If these people got a proper job that actually does some good instead of making poor people s lives a misery the world would be a better place. Scum. All of them.
