Caller claimed he was from Curry's / PC world and was running a promotion for smartphones. BYYEEEEEEEE
TAXES / HMRC alleged, Automated message stating that fees need be paid or will be arrested typical message from scammers had these before especially in 2020 there were so many calls of this type.

SCAM national insurance number scam.
Lady with a Swedish accent phoned my number asking for my daughter by her full name. I said that is my daughter what is this about? She then went on to ask if we know about the european laws reguarding crypto currency and I realised it was probably a scam and hung up to google the number and found it listed 6 times on a swedish number look up website.
Answered this call to hear a recorded message telling me that my National Insurance number was being withdrawn because of illegal activity. I hung up and blocked them.
Regular calls from this number, even after they have been told not to call again. Often get a hang up when I answer from an auto dialling machine
SCAM / SPAM date of the call - 20/5/2020 phone number used - 01227304593 content of the call - Automated call stating a fraud has been committed under my name, that I need to press 1 to talk to someone if not an arrest warrant will be issued against me.

Called and said we had insurance on our washing machine. I politely explained I was busy as it was my sons birthday and he said he didn t care, mumbled something else and then hung up.
