SCAM / SPAM - automated call telling me that my email has been hacked
Cold caller who called our TPS registered line, asking to speak to a named member of staff. Claimed to be Ewan from Connect (n.b. *not* BT Connect, just Connect ) and said he would be in our local area tomorrow, but then named a town over 20 miles away. Said he wished to discuss our upcoming assessment and proceeded to try to talk about saving money on your phone bill and broadband at which point we said we weren t interested and hung up.
this number claims I have been involved in an accident in the last 3 years saying I had a small bump in car....not true at all!!

Seems to be a Foreign Exchange scam. A London number, but the callers are Albanian or Cypriots.
Called to say ?600 had been taken from your account press 1 to continue - tried to call back from a different number but call failed

They call at least twice a day every day, leave no message. INTIMIDating
Recorded message claiming to be from BT and saying they were going to disconnect me and I should press 1 for information.

above number keeps calling my home, and hanhs up when I answer. I am on the TPS so they are illlegally calling, but it I get 20 such calls a day from other numbers so it s obvious you are allowed to break the law in the UK.
