I wrote to Erudio so that they would either e-mail or write to me a letter and to remove my mobile number, and then call after call after call started. This idiot tried to con me out of some stupid amount for Amazon prime, something I have never had. Unfortunately my husband answered the phone and is more kind to the conners than me. As far as I am concerned all phone callers are potential con artist so I very rarely answer my phone these days. Perhaps if they worked in a decent job for a living they might not be as disgusting, but what do i know.

Just had a missed call, first thing I did was check here and as I guessed scam caller.
Just found out that £79•99 has been taken from my account by a cpmpamy called mgi. I didnt make the payment via card and had to call my bank to cancel my card. They told me i have to wait 3 days to see if the payment is taken as it is pending so i cant stop it. This is a joke and the company should be prosecuted for it. I want my money back. we all earn our money so why should we have to loose it like this. I feel sory for all those who have lost money to these people..

Number appears to belong to Le Pain Quotidien (and comes up as such) but definitely does not. Le Pain Quotidien have been warned that someone's spoofing their number.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17829306xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, RTA, PPI - insurance management. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

I checked with Homeserve because, coincidentally, I was expecting a call from them but it was not a number that I recognised - It is definitely not Homeserve, it is presumably a scammer. The proper number for Homeserve, if you need them, is 0800 247 999. What worried me and I mentioned it to them, is that Google currently puts ads for the scam number at the top of their search results. Homeserve are looking into this. I hope this information helps.

This number claimed to have been calling about my ‘recent car accident’. Out of curiosity of what this woman was going to say I said ‘Which one?’. Straight away she said ‘Ok, we’ll take you out of our system.’ Clearly this call was a scam.
