Just tried to get me to press buttons on my computer - apparently I am at risk of viruses. Ended the call when I said I thought it was a scame.
SPAM. Car incident claims.
Automated call saying press 1 to speak to an HMRC officer but if you don't a warrant will be put out in your name and you will be arrested shortly

Called saying they were a Trade Associations. A person moved into area looking for a builder. Checked recent planning applications.
Fraud: Called up pretending to be HMRC saying there is a case open in my name and if I don't give them my bank details a warrant will be issued in my name and the police will come and arrest me. Never laughed so hard in my life!!
Wanted to speak to whoever was dealing with a job advetisement, when asked what company they were from they refused tried to make out they were an individual calling about the vacancy. When number was dialled back they answered the Phone as Western Times. So blatantly lied to get through.

This No rang at 9.30 am and a recorded voice told me it was my bank and said 600 pounds would be taken from my account unless I pressed 1 on my phone. I replaced the receiver.

Yet another call about an energy survey telling me there is money allocated for doors, windows, etc. Got quite aggressive when I said I was TPS registered, so I just told her to go and get a job that was socially useful and did not involve pestering people with things they don t want and don t need. Put the phone down while caller was spluttering on.
