Told him no that we didn't have any need for one & hung up but finding it strange that we've had 3 calls in the last 20 mins off 0203 numbers which flash up as +441253.... numbers when the dial through about card machines & energy contracts. Despite me requesting previously that these charlatans remove me from their database they still call using different landline numbers. Don t bother answering, they are trying to sell utter rubbish along the lines of life insurance etc. Very persistent despite me telling them I couldn t talk as I was at work. Cut them off in the end

This number seems to be used by some call centre from Manchester - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. People did someone

Called today by this telephone number +44 1223 546709, automated call with message basically stating that the call was from HMRC and my account was involved in fraud and I was to select 1 on my my key pad to talk to an advisor (yeah, right as if), failure to do would result in an arrest warrant being issued against me immediately...... okay still no police at the door yet. When i asked where they got my number from they said from a 3rd party company, when i asked which one they said that information was confidential. I suspect it is a job recruitment agency as i ve received a number of calls like this in the past week and have only recently listed my CV to a job site.
