Claimed to be fromTelephone Preference Agency, Was I getting scam calls? They rang again , silent call before through to office noise. Conclude are Scam and nuisance. Surely can't be hard to track these crooks down and put them out of business.

Cold called by someone claiming to be from TalkTalk technical dept wanting to help me with a problem with my router. However I am not a customer of TalkTalk so I can only assume that this was a scam call.

BPO are a benuine debt collection agency. They left an automated message on wife’s phone asking for me to ring them and quoting a reference no. Next day sent txt to wife’s phone saying to ring them re B Gas. We have no outstanding debt with anybody so not sure what they’re up to Reported to Information Commissioner’s Office. Advise others to do same if you have no debt

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183280xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don'
