Called claiming to be Three (the mobile network) saying you owe them money. Three customer service deny it is a Three number and say it is a scam.
It was a Call saying they were from the motor insurance bureau and offering money regarding an accident last year. They claimed the money was sat there to be claimed? Sounds too...
Call purporting to be from BT Openreach re my computer. Sounded like a call centre abroad. I told the caller that they weren t from BT, at which the call was disconnected.
called me to advise that another energy provider had approached them to take over my gas & electric supply.... that happened months ago!! The caller got quite aggressive when i wouldn t confirm any of my details.

Contacted on WhatsApp. Pretending to be my child with a new phone number due to dropping theirs in the sink. Asked if I could help pay some invoices. When asked to call my home number, stated can not do that at the moment. So total scam.
My house phone never rings except for wrong numbers, a guy with a foreign accent asked for Mr Daniel Radcliffe (Seriously) when I said wrong number he asked for my name and to confirm the number he had just called! I told him I m registered with TPS and I work in a call centre so I know the rules require him to terminate the call, he still tried to get me to confirm my number. I hung up in the end, I m sure they ll try again. I know the Real call centres monitor forums like this as it is part of their Ofcom
