This number is ao.com. They ring it when you ve placed an order in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact, their sole purpose is to sell you their costly insurance cover for the items you ve bought. No new information re delivery details is provided, they just repeat your order details. These are unsolicited scripted insurance sales calls and as such a form of harassment. They don t leave a message when they ring so that you ring back and incur the cost of the call. Very shoddy behaviour.

Whoever it is has been calling me for hours. If I answer I only hear silence, so I m non-plussed. Possibly a scam or an autodial.

This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.

PPI company. Operative very familiar and became insistent and rude when I asked them to remove my mobile number from their records

We had exactly the same situation happen as described above, Sarah Parker was incredibly aggressive and rude to both myself and my Director on numerous occassions when we tried to question her over her fictional invoice, when i asked to speak to her manager she hung up on me. She is also using the mobile number 07546892327.

Keep ringing and leaving 7 minute long voicmails and not leaving me alone even though I have told them in not interested in what there selling!

unknown caller yesterday

this number is local to me but seems not to be located here. Liverpool accent but National Hearing Clinic does not exist, it seems. Similar claims supposedly based on my industrial history have been used by pseudo-companies in recent years, shown by Google search

Another call from this 08437240176 scammer trying to flog cavity wall insulation. Remember, anyone who cold calls you, (especially when you are registered with the TPS), is highly likely to be at best disreputable or at worst an out and out fraudster. Never take up any offer from a cold caller. Mobile number saying they are from Hermes claiming to have a parcel for us, we have not ordered anything and are not waiting for anything to be delivered, this definitely a scam.

Attempt to get financial details by getting to interact by pressing “1”. By saying money sent abroad using your card.

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers
