This number called me just now 0151 375 8825 saying they wanted to know I was happy with work that I had, had done on my car recently. Total rubbish nuisance call. Now blocked, after telling them to take my name and number of the system.

Informed that I had won a Discount Card but wanted many details that I was not prepared to give so I rang off.

Called my Mobile Number, rang off, after 3 x rings. Number is Blocked looking on Google, it is Repoted as an Accident Claim / annoyance call :(

Not your credit card, theirs, but in any case it s a well known scam.

Old scam - after your data to sell onto other criminals who disregard the law. Just hang up. Good reporting them to the ICO. You don t even need to know their name, just their number. The criminal fraudsters like Anthony Simister who run scams like TAPA like to plant stooges on these forums to discourage honest folk from contacting the ICO or Ofcom. Ignore them. Went dead as soon as I answered but this sounds like the same thing as reported on the media with Indian (or Indian subcontinent) scammers pretending to be from spoofing the number of an innocent guy in Wigan who has nothing to do with it.

Missed call - unknown. Saw it come in on my what's app... I don't like people phoning me randomly on that platform as that for me is invite/acknowledged only. The country code is for India. So I deem it as slightly suspicious. No message saying who they are. I never pick numbers I don't know. if they are really legit, they could leave a message. I'm tempted to block this number.
