Unsolicited call - nuisance call also rated as a scam call because they call regarding to car accident you never had. They want to solve and sell you car insurance.
Claimed to have spoken to me before and wanted to know if I still had life cover! Phishing!!!! I am in finance so no way I would have talked to them - lots of friends in that business and I don't need any more.
Claimed I was on their system for taking a loan or credit card out with barclays. I said they must be mistaken because I ve never been with them and he said "I m never mistaken" I pointed out several reasons why they were wrong and he hung up.
This is a dangerous new type of scam using a mixture of voice clips and synthesised voice at their end of the line. It does not respond too well yet if your answers aren't expected - such as asking the machine to run under a bus and then the driver could claim for an accident with them! All the same, it sounds more credible than a foreign call centre type of caller
