This number terrorized me for a long time. Initially, there were only a few calls I took off and even contradictory, but it was launched directly. For a few weeks there will be daily call attempts. It will never leave a message. Why me? Where have my number and what do they want?
Knew my name, but nothing else. Direct call to my work number. Male voice, slight australian accent.

This is one of those "Hi. This is BT. your Internet has a fault" etc recorded scams, which I presume goes on to ask you for your bank details to "reconnect" ...

Red Star PPI are also using numbers from Bolton, Manchester, this Birmingham centre, also Hexham, seems they have figured a way to call from one centre but use different numbers...
Silence on answering the phone. From reading previous comments, it seems likely to be something to do with timeshare - not the first time we have had calls about this and I keep asking them to remove us from database.
