Scam. Automated message stating that £600 had been taken from a Visa or Mastercard in the last 15 minutes. Press 1 to continue. Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Wanted others to be aware.

Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.

When I started my business 18 months ago I had a call from 118, regarding my free listing . I went with it initially, but ended up calling them to take it down, as salesmen wouldn t stop calling and I even had a few just turn up at the premises! I had NO legitimate business come through 118, they didn t even list the business details correctly. They call rambling about insurance cover. If you tell you "no" they keep bothering you. I have just shut the phone call and blocked them.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!!
