this company called first responce rang me on this number and asked me about a accident/car damaged i report told them i have not reported anything and asked for my number/details to be removed from there system was strange though he called me by my name so some other company as sold my details to them so from now will be clicking that box of refusal to pass on my details to third party campanys

Insurance. Very suspicious. The caller claimed to be calling about renewal of an insurance policy on my washing machine. He sounded convincing until he said he wanted to confirm my bank details. I asked him to tell me what details he had and he said he didn't have that information and wanted me to give them to him. Naturally, I refused to do this and he quickjy terminated the conversation. This is probably an attempted fraud.
