Call from Wales, aggressive. PPI. Shouldnt there be a law against this?

Caller knew my name, said he was Paul and hung up.

Just looking at new insurance for home and car .. I didn t answer phone, but called back, asking what they want. They are following up on my on line quotes.

Cold Caller re PPI ,,, nice American voice but told him not interested and was on TPS and ex directory. I save the number and add to Contacts as "Z PPI " etc so I never make the mistake of answering again

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! I am glad to let the world know that when you see this number it is not worth picking up. Just leave it & let it ring! I wonder how much their phone call expenses are? Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.

Con telephone call - wasted their time as usual then hung up on them.

Called asking to do a pension review.

This number just called me asking for me by name I asked who was calling they said IT and something was wrong with my computer. At that point I put the phone down.
