Call went to answerphone and hung up. Called the number back and as with several similar calls from other numbers recently, the number was not recognised. Now blocked but it wasn't a legitimate number anyway.

I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. The scary thing about this call was it was a local number to me, first time I've seen that, the other thing about that is it means its only relivent to people in the 0115 area, not nationally like the old scam num

Purporting to be bank security checking on an Amazon purchase of £300 and an International charge of £1,000.
This call referred to an Amazon Card (which I don't have) and an international money transfer of £300. None of which is relevant. Sounds threatening. Have had this before but on a different number.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. They then asked for a payment of £201.56 to be made to ‘Mary Monco’ and at that point I knew it was fraudulent. Reported to RBS and they confirmed it wasn’t them
