This number keeps calling our home line for up to five times a day. Everytime I try to get to the phone the line goes dead. Last call 5.30pm received today I actually spoke to them (they were asking for me) and passed the call onto my husband. He said to them that we are receiving too many calls from them...they are going to take our number off their records...humm not sure about this at all

This number is just another one in the same range of similar numbers - 19167199xx - same call centre, mostly reported as a silent call (just testing their database of numbers), sometimes as accident chasers ("Have you been involved in a road traffic accident...?"), or telemarketing offers. I just got 3 calls in a row from this number when i called it back all i got was the engaged tone and once i got through and all i could here was a "pips" tone like th...
caller started with a new strategy i had not heard before: 'do you get a lot of PPI nuisance calls? i can explain why and make it stop if you answer a few questions' . I asked to be removed from database and that they stop calling. Caller was very insistent.
This number has rang several times per day for 3 weeks and never leaves a message. When you answer you can hear someone breathing and background noise but no one speaks. Beware. Very fishy.
