I think this was a scam call claiming to be from my internet provider.
Not in when called and so answer machine switched in. No message left.
I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). He quoted, correctly both my mobile number and my house phone number. Told me that the account would be frozen. SCAM Someone passing themselves off as Business Energy Direct. It certainly isn’t them, they are based in Rotherham which is an 01709 number and none of their staff are Asian so don’t have Asian accents.
Called to ask if he could discuss the cost of funerals in my area. I said my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. He said I m sorry for the mistake - but am I aware of the cost of funerals. I asked if he was aware of how the TPS worked and he said yes, but he would still like to discuss the cost of funerals, is that s ok?. This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...
