Scam call saying that I was in the wrong Council Tax band and for a fee of £79 their company would review and successfully get my house re-banded and claim back hundreds even thousands of pounds. Got them to send me documentation which is post marked South

Message sent claiming to be my child and to block their old number and text this new number from now on. I asked which child and was told to guess... amazingly I guessed the name correctly! (even though I have no kids). I'm guessing this long lost child would probably eventually ask for some money or something...

South East Asian caller, said that they were located in Bradford though the number comes up Swansea. Company called Beneficial, knew my personal details and wanted me to confirm. When I refused and asked what the call was about I was told that it was about my shopping habits and lifestyle. The caller did not verify the reason to call at the begining....wanted me to confirm my identity first.
