Scam call telling me my National insurance number has been use fraudulently

Number called, i picked but they hung up within a second. Tried calling back but doesn t go through.

text message saying that they were having trouble collecting money for EE bill. Gave me an https website to go to. I have no EE bill therefore this is DANGEROUS SCAM

This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. They asked for my wife - using her maiden name and we ve been married for 11 years, where do they get their info from?! Apparently 01234 339 numbers are allocated to BT, who in turn have sublet them to rogue operators like this. Anyroad: add this no. to your blocklist. You can t live without a phone with nuisance call protection nowadays.

I keep getting calls from this number, I have no idea who they are or more importantly how they got my number.

I used ring back - not a good idea on reflection. The male voice asked my name and so I asked his. He said "Roger". I felt this was a bit inadequate and so asked again at which point he got stroppy: "I ve told you". I hung up.

It called me and I didn t recognise it so didn t pick up, but then when I called back (after there were no entries here) it said it s an invalid number.

I have never had a catalogue. And it can t be from tv license because I live with my mum and she pays all the tv license bill .
